Hygienic Pipework Fabrication and Installation
General guidelines for hygienic pipework state that it is important that the fabrication of hygienic quality pipework is carried out to a high standard. The methods and standards for fabrication should not offer any increased risk of bacteriological contamination or any increase cleaning requirements. Defects associated with changes in geometry should be minimised and weld defects suchg as porosity, cracks and incorrect penetration should not be permitted.
